Heron's Hideaway is a beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bath beach house in the heart of Gulf Shores. This house is ideal for those that want a comfortable, laid-back home base in the center of everything with the added amenity of a private heated salt water pool.
The saltwater pool is surrounded by a flat open field which makes the back yard a fantastic place for games and hanging out. Bring the charcoal barbeque out and have an afternoon grill out.
The back deck is the ideal place to relax after a day of activities. Enjoy a glass of wine while the kids swim in the pool. At night, turn on the patio lights and catch up with friends. We are surrounded by non-rental houses so peace and quiet is assured. You will be able to enjoy the relaxing tranquil waters of the bay and sleep peacefully at night.
Take a morning jog along the Lagoon pathway or visit on the back deck while you watch the kids swim. Take the bikes for a spin. When it's time to hit the beach, it's only a quick walk to the famous sugar white sands of the gulf.
The Gulf Shores beach, considered to be one of the best in the country, will not disappoint. It has beautiful white sand, crystal blue water and plenty of space. Heron's Hideaway is about a 5 min walk to the public beach access or a minutes drive to public parking across the street from public access. We provide beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas.
Finally, need break from the sun? Let the kids play the full size arcade game with 30 popular games or watch a movie on the large screen TV. Then, cap off the perfect day with a stroll into town to enjoy dinner and an ice cream. No matter what you like to do during your beach vacation, this house offers it all!

"Heron’s Hideaway was the perfect place for our family vacation. Although the weather didn’t cooperate the first 2 days for beach days, the kids still were able to enjoy the pool and had a blast! There was so many things to keep them all busy, which isn’t always easy to do with a wide range in ages. The house was perfect. It felt like home when we first walked in the door.
